EASY SOFT ANNOUNCES RECORD REVENUE FOR YEAR 2008 DESPITE ECONOMIC DOWNTURN

Company’s focus on value-added services to popular products brings record revenues for 22 years in business

NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – January 7, 2009 – Easy Soft, an industry leader in law office automation software and services, today announces the company has achieved record revenue in 2008 despite downturn in market overall.

2008 was a transformation year for the company as they focused on providing valued-added services integrated with their already popular products, ultimately resulting in revenue generating opportunities for the company.  Their newly launched 1099-S filing capability from their Easy HUD product is an example of such a service.

The company launched the following products and services in 2008:

  • Easy HUD 3.0 – Due to the changes in to the regulatory requirements of the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) that will take effect on January 16, 2009, the company has announced they will be launching a new version of their flagship product – Easy HUD, the nation’s top real estate closing software package.  The product will meet all RESPA Final Rule requirements issued November 14, 2008 by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
  • 1099-S Filing Service – Easy HUD enables integrated 1099-S reporting.  The software empowers all current Easy HUD users with the ability to click a button and automatically submit a complete 1099-S in full compliance with IRS requirements.  Easy HUD is a real estate closing software that simplifies the entire closing process with automated HUD-1 or HUD-1A settlement statement preparation, checks disbursement, trust accounting interface and 1099-S electronic filing. 
  • Divorce Financials 2.0 – Divorce Financials makes it possible for family lawyers to create and evaluate various tax optimized divorce financial settlement scenarios in minutes and assemble distributable assets and liabilities while effectuating distribution.  The program provides law firm specific, customized, court room ready reports and charts that often result in the foundation of rational negotiation and the eventual non-litigated reaching of a divorce decree.
  • Easy TimeBill 2.0 – Easy TimeBill allows users to track and enter billable time, generate invoices, receive payments and perform bank accounting. Users can issue checks, make deposits and perform bank reconciliation while also tracking billable personnel and billable activities. Easy TimeBill has an intuitive user interface so a client's unbilled and unpaid balances are always known
